  3. Battery condition. In hot weather, the liquid medium can evaporate intensely, causing the battery to malfunction. It is recommended to keep an eye on the electrolyte level and top it up if necessary.
  4. Brake system. In hot weather, brake fluid may boil and brake pads and disks may overheat. To preserve brake function, it is recommended to replace brake fluid if the vehicle has been used for more than two years and change driving style.
  5. Tires. It is advisable to check the air pressure in tires more often in summer. It is done with the help of a pressure gauge at any service station.
  6. It is better to use oil of higher viscosity. This will prevent engine leaks. Before driving off, check the oil and coolant level.
  7. It is better not to fill the gas tank 100%. Gasoline expands in the heat and can leak out when the tank is full. Experts recommend filling up at 50%.
  8. At the beginning of summer it is better to change the cabin and air filters to prevent street dust from getting into the cabin. If you drive frequently on country roads, it is recommended to change it every 600-800 km.
  9. At high temperatures, the plastic dashboard may start to melt. This can happen with cars from the budget category. To avoid it, it is better to park the car in the shade, use protective screens, curtains or buy a protective cover.
  10. In traffic jams, it is desirable to turn off the air conditioning system. This will allow the engine not to overheat. If at switching on the cooling device there is an unpleasant odor, it is necessary to carry out antiseptic treatment of air ducts and radiator-evaporator of the air conditioner.
